I have been working for small businesses in one way or another for my entire adult life. I have seen it all! From working in the movie industry in Los Angeles to selling adult novelties in Tampa and managing a historic Cigar bar in the heart of Ybor City. One thing I learned long ago, you need to tell your story well.

That is why I opened Rainy Day Prosper in 2018, to help small businesses with their ever-growing list of digital design needs they never anticipated mastering themselves. I named my business “Rainy Day Prosper” because it seems these gray days are the best days to get motivated and inspired with new content creation, branding strategy, and fresh business goals. The perfect weather to focus on your story.

I am also a huge fan of ethnic minority and women-owned micro-businesses. They are the cornerstone of culture in any community and COVID-19 has proven just how fragile these small businesses are without the support of their neighbors. In 2019 alone, I donated over $20,000 of my services to these small businesses and it is my mission to continue to support them through local non-profits.

In 2020 my business was honored to become a finalist in the Innoventures Competition, a small business pitch competition hosted by Ventures.

That same year I also became a Civita Institute Fellow for my research project proposal on cultural heritage and local food traditions in Civita di Bagnoregio, Italy. I was able to complete my fellowship in 2021, where I spent 30 days interviewing local food producers of the Tuscia region.
